Visual wheel tracking is not really that hard and can be very rewarding. As for the dealer hitting a certain spot, I believe they certainly can do it - as least close. Have seen it happen many times.

One fact about the martingale system is that if you play enough, eventually you MUST hit the table maximum and thus lose alot of money. The real question is, how often will you lose 10 bets in a row?

Alright since you killed the "War Games" answer, i.e. the best move is not to play, I will give you the strategy I use when I am forced to play by my friend who loves the game.
In order to play this way you have to play at a table where you don't have to make the minimum for side bets provided you spread the minimum on the table (i.e. if the table minimum is $5.00 you can put $2.00 on "2nd 12" or black provided you put $3.00 somewhere else on the table, or play at a $2 minimum table. So here we go. Bet $1.00 on a number of your choice, lets use 5. Then put $2.00 on the corner of the 5 to cover it and the three adjoining numbers (so 1,2,4). Then $2.00 on the corner to cover the number 5 and the 5 adjoining numbers (so 1,2,3,4,5,6 are bet by your $2.00) then $2.00 on the other side of the adjoining numbers (so 4,5,6,7,8,9 are bet by this $2.00), Then you put $2.00 in the "2nd 12" spot, and finally $2.00 in the "3rd 12" spot. You have now bet out $11.00. You have a bet on every number on the table except 0, 00, 10, 11, 12. If one of them hit you lose it all, however, if a number in the 2nd or 3rd groups hit you will get $6.00 of your $11.00 back. If the number you are betting on, in this case 5, hits, then you win $78.00, if any of the numbers around 5 hits you also win a decent little pot. Basically, this is a way to play for a while, not lose much as you only usually lose $5.00 per spin of the wheel (you are covering 33 of the 38 possible numbers so I say usually) and you still can win some bucks if your numbers hit. If you can find somewhere that uses a European wheel, which has only one zero on it, even better because that is one less number you are not covering. Played this way at O'Shea's in November for about 2 hours one night and won a little over $300.00. That said I still won't play the game unless my "friend" drags me to it. Regards |

A. Once every 1023 spins. It wipes out all the winnings of the first 1022 wins. |

If all you want is what other people play....
11-15 32-26 If you hit, double your bet. If that hits, double it again. Do that until you lose, and start from scratch. Set a loss limit. However, you can also win doing this. sm |

One of the strag. I use, I got from my video I bought about how to play roulette. Play the 123 and 456 street with 1 coin. Then straight up on 8,10,20,26. If you hit on any of the straight ups then double your bet. Apparently these numbers represent every 3rd number on the wheel. Therefore your luck is better. If there is such a thing.LOL

------------------------- Playing every third number is not more sound than playing any other combination of numbers. I don't see how only 4 numbers can be every third number.... |

Hiya. Roulette, like all games, does things that are Normal most of the time, and once in a while does something that is not normal. Example would be the same dozen hitting 6-8 times in a row. This is normal, and it happens. See it hit 10 times in a row. I have only seen it do that 1 time in over 5 years of playing almost every day. Therefore that is not normal.
You must keep your bets in Normal, and Stop if you have not won by the end of Normal. Using the above example. you see the 2nd dozen has hit 7 times in a row. you bet the 1st and 3rd, "For a max of 2 spins only". You lost on the 8th spin, of Normal, and then lost on the 9th spin. The game just went bad, and it does not matter if it continues or not, you have protected yourself from large losses. Every bet in the Game can be made like this. Every bet in every game can be made like this. Then "WHEN" one of those horror stories happens to you, "Lost 17 in a row in BJ, saw red/black zig zag 15 in a row, saw player win 16 in a row in Baccarat, and so on," You had already stopped, or was betting the table Min bet, instead of chasing the Bets in the world of the Unknown. There is just no substitute for experience. |

One thing, I tend to never play on roulette, is covering two of the twelve bets on one spend.
A lot of people think that they have a good chance of winning because you are still gettting 2-1 and you are covering 24 numbers. However, for every lose, you have to win 2 more times to break even. Not a good bet. The only way to bet on 2 sections of twelve is to do it once with a large amount of your bankroll. If you win, stop betting that way, and if you lose, start drinking. My goal at roulette is a system that I can remember after an umber of free drinks, try this one, one on the third column, one on black, even I can remember this one, I also noticed that at the electronic roulette which is much cheaper that the 0-00 comes up alot more than the real wheel, won alot of quarters betting on this, in fact the crowd at the sit down electronic table got ruly and cleared out after I won this a couple of times in a row. But I am enjoying these, may try to print some out and give them a try...

To cover 13 spots which is 34% of the wheel try these combos 00 / 2 / 5-8 / 15-18 / 20-23 / 25-28 / 30-33 / 36 or 0 / 1-4 / 7-10 / 12 / 14-17 / 21-24 / 26 / 31-34
Both layouts use 8 chips and cover every third number. A straight up number yields 28 chips and a split number yields 10 chips. Works great most of the time. |

My sure win strategy for Roulette. | ||

I have a sure win strategy, I bet $1 on red, $1 on black and order a drink. The comp drink is almost always free, except when it costs $2 (for the 0,00). With drink in hand, I leave to play a game that has something less than a 5% house edge (and preferably a 1%+ edge to the player).

I play the same basic strategy all the time. I pick my numbers, put my money down and they take it.

f.w.i.w.,
i agree with casino hype, bet on 1 to 12, and 13 to 24, odds are 100% that you cant win the two bets i.m.o. make one bet, odd, even, two #, six #, 1st 12 etc.. |

I usually single out two #'s (35, 36 or 1,2) and then try to cover about 12 more or so with 7-10 units total. Overall, just trying to survive until I hit a couple single #'s in a row and then walk away w $$ and buzz.
Last time at the riverboat I would double my bet on a winner and also put one on there for the dealer. Was 36 in this case. Three seperate times after I had hit 36 and put a dollar or two on it for the dealer, 35 came up next. Good for me, bad for her. Just seemed weird that the same thing happened three times and I'm thinking she was trying to get 36 but her timing was off by half a wheel or so. Made half an attempt to jokingly ask her but she only responded with "you just keep putting it on the wrong #". So I loaded up 35 for a couple spins for both of us but to no avail. |

Has anyone played video roulette - Harrahs and Rio have it. DO you get slot club credits for playing it and if so, how much per point. At Harrahs I know 1 point = $5 in on slots and $10 in on video poker.
I am thinking of trying a new system next month when we go to Rio. DaveOKC |
