There is not a single story line that is believable. And there is certainly not enough scenery of Vegas to make it worthwhile
I watched my last version of it last nite. What a waste of time.

Ok, I thought Casino (Golden Nugget) was bad, but 24/7 makes Casino look like an Emmy award winner. It is AWFUL.

Yes, last night's episode was a little flat, boob job excepted. But it's still better than The Casino.

I have to disagree with your assessment of 24/7. I actually enjoyed the show last night. It is a vast improvement over The Casino and as equally entertaining as American Casino. The storylines seemed believable. I would imagine that creating a reality casino show is pretty difficult due to everyone in the viewing audience having different experiences and expectations in that area. What is of interest to one person might not be of interest to the next person. Sure, there is plenty of room for improvement but I think they are off to a good start.
But again, everyone has different tastes with regard to entertainment so there will be differences of opinion. And of course, all opinions are valid. |

Gee, do you think these people knew they were on camera?
Any good ideas for reality shows were already used and now we are left with bad imitations. Not even one story line was believable. The dancer goes out 3 weeks for her operation, comes back, and the whale is still there waiting for his wife's party. This is the rare type of show I will only watch once, no 2nd chance. Too bad, for some reason I expect more from A&E. |

How would you like to be Murray King? The high roller being described as a pain in the ass by your casino host.. I cannot believe that Caesars let this happen.. Here was a guy who had been coming to Caesars since day one, knew Jay Sarno and they are badmouthing this guy. I grant you he was very demanding, but hey it appeared that he drops major dollars in the casino so that should justify it.
I would have rather had a full hour with Murray telling stories about Caesars and the way it was over the years than the dribble this new show is putting out.. If I was Murray and they portrayed me like, I would take my business elsewhere. |

pgapro: You hit that perfectly. LOL.
I always heard that a whale gets everything comped- so the $1000 charge to move the piano( Was it from Cafe Lago across the hall to Terrazza ?) was nonsensical- especially since he knew the charge was already on his credit card?? Murray might have been old but I doubt that he needed to be walked from point A to point B by the host/pitboss and BTW --I have no clothes to wear to the party. I can';t imagine what Murray thought was in this for him to be portrayed as an idiot and to have them actually say this on TV. |

Murray strikes me as a guy who likes attention and he probably wanted everyone to see how his host falls all over himself to please him. It's a show of power, wealth, prestige on Murray's part. In short, he likes being a pain in the butt, because he can make his casino host jump through hoops.
One thing that wasn't clear to me was the casino host's determination to walk him to every event and make sure he got there? Doesn't the host's job end at getting him the tickets? If he's late or misses the fight, that's the client's problem, right? |

And oh, by the way, whatever makes Brandy Beavers think she would qualify as having playmate potential is really a mystery.

Brandy looked rough next to the girls who were participating in the swimsuit shoot. As the photographer said- Playmates have the "girl next door " look and Brandy doesn't have that look at all-- well maybe if you lived in the neighborhood of one of the brothels outside LV.

The idea must have been to show what extremes host typically go to to please whales...Murray had to have been "in on the joke"--otherwise, he'd never come back. As for Joe C., you don't become pit boss of the high roller pit without having serious juice; I doubt he'd be begging for a host gig...and he's probably quite "well taken care of" for schmoozing patrons in the high roller pit.
As for Brandy, she's worse than Anna Nicole! Her pimping for the photographer ("I'm up-and-coming here in Vegas") was almost painful. And the qibbling lovers from Mexico...why were they speaking to each other in English? Overall, if there's one show that might actually turn me OFF to LV, it could be this one... |

I think this show is the worst thing in the world since the plague and AIDS. I believe the producers, along with their family and friends, should be gruesomely murdered. That would teach them . . .
Edited to add: I've just learned that a team of scientists is investigating a possible link between Caesars 24/7 and the tsunami. Damn you, reality TV! Oh the humanity! |

Why they want to Jerry Springer everything is unknown to me, also.
They had plenty of opportunity to show the inside of the The Coliseum for example, and they didn't. It's as if they go out of their way to -not- bring out the best of their own property. |

Cracks me up how she could say "Hi, I'm Brandy Beavers" without laughing - even with all the "acting" going on I would still crack up if I had to say it.
I was hoping this would be a good show. I was still hoping after the first one, but last night has shown it will not be a good show. The whole story line between the boyfriend and girlfriend was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO bad. It was all bad. |

Lets be happy it's on and it's about Vegas. Nothing sucks more than CASINO (The Golden -@#%$- Nugget) FOX show, but with the volume off it was bare able. Watch and enjoy and listen to good music over a bottle of wine.
At least Caesars24/7 is the strip, a nice place, and a classy hotel. Not like the IP or some dump. |

Gotti's psychological-sociological comment of the day:
It's immensely entertaining to watch everyone debate the realism of this reality TV show. Vegas itself is the furthest place from reality that I've ever been to, and most folks visit to escape their own reality for a few days. Really! |
